Hi, I'm Amy Pronovost and flyingarmadillo.com is my online illustration portfolio. I do a variety of work from whimsical cartoons to plein air sketches. I love to draw critters, animals and aliens from my own creations to Star Wars or Lord of the Rings and World of Warcraft. Browse the galleries and check out all the cool art. Emerald City Comicon and Blog stuff
I have added a little widget to the sidebar of the homepage to show you when I have updated my blog. Eventually the blog and the site will be one. That's a summer project.
I will be at Emerald City Comicon May 10th and 11th, come to artist alley and see me and my lovely assistant Steve. I will have mini prints of the goat for cheap, (See the tcolour section for the whole image), my convention sketchbook, pre drawn sketch cards and more at the table.

Calgary Comig & Entertainment Expo

Moonkin! iNDY 4!
Here's a moonkin I drew, it's on the digital colour page. I'll have some more art updates soon. I'm testing out a new, fast monochrome digital technique for my convention sketchbook. Yes, this piece will be in there :D
Also, I am on for 106 Indiana Jones 4 Sketch cards. I can't show them to you until the set is out, so they will remain a myyyystery.

Lord of the Rings: Masterpieces II Sketch cards
I've been invited back to do some Lord ot the Rings sketch cards and I've uploaded a sneak peek. I'm doing 106 cards.
I am also doing 206 cards for the upcoming Indiana Jones set and a bunch of cards for 2000AD. it's going to be a busy end of the year!

Thanks everyone for the interest in the sketch card sale, it's now closed! I'm taking the month of July to finish outstanding commissions and to work on some techniques I'm rusty on. Right now I'm doing a slighty abstract watercolour landscape (I've started it three times.)
Keep checking out the blog. I've been adding sketches to it :)
