Return card commissions for Star Wars Rebels!
Return card commissions for Star Wars Rebels!
Hello and happy New Year, all. I know I don’t update as much as I should, but I have an awesome job in Health Care. The only convention I’m doing for sure in 2015 is Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo in September. I may be in Saskatoon or Regina, pending work schedule, but in a purely personal or volunteering sense for the 501st.
Amy vs ice means that I have some time to work on some personal stuff, so you may see some doodles. I have a few things to scan. Until then, a few things I finished off before the ice took me out of commission.
A preview of some Perna cards, and cards for Star Wars Rebels! It’s nice to work in the Star Wars galaxy again. It’s been too long.
I do have return cards from the following sets available for commission:
Star Wars Galaxy (6, I think)
BATMAN: The Legend
Classic Mythology 2
I have Adventure Time returns available as well.
This was the hardest project to keep from talking about, but I did some cards for the Cryptozoic Adventure Time set. These are the approved cards. 😀
In Con news, I will be at Saskatoon Entertainment Expo and, then the next week, Edmonton Entertainment Expo.
Enjoy the cards! I’ll try to have some Adventure Time stuff and How to Train Your Dragon stuff at the cons.
Calgary Expo is just around the corner and I will be there. I was originally in the backup Artist Alley, but I’ve been moved to the main exhibitor hall – location TBA. I’ve done a piece for the artbook that involves bunnies. I’ll have new-to-you prints of old-to-me art, a blowout on really old prints, and STICKERS! All stickers at the show will be $1 each or two for $1.50
Sticker themes include My Little Pony, Ninja Turtles and NOPE!IMALS. And a certain Fox with a speech bubble you can fill in. The Sloth and Laser Kitten stickers from last year will also be at the show, and the Laser Kitten will be available as a print!
I’m done the Mane 6. Pardon the differences in inking here, I’ve gotten my hand on a cintiq and I inked these in two different programs (And Fluttershy was inked by hand).
Not pictured is Darth Muffins/Derpy/Bubblecup (Whatever you want to call her).
I’ll have more art here as I finish it, and the Artbook piece will be posted shortly before the con!
Happy Valentines Day!
I was originally going to be really ambitious and had six valentines sketched out, but I didn’t end up finishing them in time for the big day, so I made these two!
I know Wesley is annoying, but he also deserved a little love and a bad pun. And Worf because cute Worf is awesome.
I have been granted permission to post all my batman cards. I have them all up in my Batman:The Legend gallery, but I have included most of them in this post!
First, my fave Manbat, and then the rest. I will probably feature a card or two every now an then that has a story attached to it. The story with this Manbat is that I have always loved Manbat, and I just wanted to do something awesome.
Lately I’ve been doing a little art, but I can’t show it off yet as everything has been a gift! HOWEVER, I have some cute little scribbles I can show you. These are the kinds of things that leap out of a ballpoint pen and onto the paper when I least expect it.
Several of the drawings live at the lab I work at. 🙂 What can I say? I have a wonderful workplace. The reindeer were painted for our door to the lab.
That secret set I have been alluding to for a while has been announced, but I have to tease you all a little with the details before I am allowed to post my cards. I am a sketch card artist on the DC Comics Batman: The Legend card set. As soon as I can, I will post some cards. I feel humbled in the presence of many of the artists on that list and I hope to do more superhero stuff in the future.
I finished this fabulous return card for Star Wars Galactic Files fan James.
If you are interested in a custom return, I am asking $125 per card. No more than two characters. Unless it’s Ewoks or Jawas. I will draw as many of those on a card as I can fit.
I also drew this Rockin’ Dragon on cardboard who is looking for a home:
I have also added some more art you can get to by perusing my gallery, but they will have a special post of their own later.
First, have a Pangolin in a Dinner Jacket beanie to start your day! What a dapper fellow.
I will be there, will you?
I’ll have more details as I get them, like a table number and all, but I don’t think I’m in artist alley this time around. For those of you wondering, yes I will be doing the ‘How to Draw Star Wars’ stuff again and I’m looking forward to catching up with all you Calgary folks again. I’m sad to have missed Emerald City Comicon.
I will be offering commissions to be picked up at the con, such as bust sketches, sketch cards, cuties and beanies, look for an announcement in April or May for that. I need to get through the rest of the semester first.
Pardon the radio silence, but I have been knitting and doing exams and celebrating Christmas and such. I made these cards for Topps!
The first three are my return cards. If you’d like to put one on hold, just fire me an email. The others will be inserted randomly into packs.
